Keoni, tearing up the fireknife!!Graduation Party #2 was in honor of these 2 gorgeous girls:
This is Tiana Taase (Fasi's little cousin) and Leilani Iaualoalo. They're best friends and they had their graduation party together last Saturday. The only downside about these 2 is that they're graduating from Mountain View...LOL...I'm kidding(kinda;0P). Anyway we cooked lots and lots and lots for this party being that they were expecting about 400 people. Turns out about 500 showed up. There was an awesome show that consisted of both graduates dancing a Samoan number, all of Tiana's siblings dancing a few numbers and 2 of Tiana's aunties also performed. Tiana and Leilani looked extremely happy! Which made all of us happy!! After the food was served and the show was over, we cleaned up the hall and DANCED THE NIGHT AWAY! With all the slicing, grating, peeling, washing, stirring, walking, trips to the store, trips back and forth between the house and the hall, serving and dancing...I LOST 5 lbs that night!! HECK YES!! Now I'm seriously wanting to open a catering business or work for one. Ok, not really. In this case PARTYING paid off in more way than one:)

My IDOLS! Uncle Tunufa'i and Auntie Laurie sharing a dance. These 2 are such amazing parents. They worked very hard to make this night special for Tiana and Leilani. When the party was over and we were at their home Auntie Laurie talked about the sacrifices made to throw this party. It was costly, very time consuming, and demanded a lot of help from everyone and anyone willing to. But in the end it was all worth it to be able to celebrate Tiana and Leilani's accomplisments and to be with family during happy times!! It was a fantastical night!!
