HANGING WITH SAI-SAI AT WORK...

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING....

My babies are growing up so fast. It's been a long while since I've journaled the funny things they've been saying and doing.
PUKA-this boy was born to be an entertainer. There is never a dull moment when my silly boy is around. He turned 4 years old last month, and although he is starting to act older...he still loves to cuddle up at the end of the day and sleep with his Mom:) He always makes me feel so loved. He still will randomly walk up to me and give me slobbery kisses and tell me that he loves me. Puka can't wait to go back to school. Here are the funny things my little man is saying:

*Whenever we're getting ready for family prayers Puka always insists on picking the song. 99.999 percent of the time he chooses "Jesus Wants me for a Sunbeam". He and Sunni-girl love this song!! As we all sing the 2 of them (and the older 3 if they're feeling like it) will get in the middle of everyone and squat down in the middle of the room until the word SUNBEAM is sung and then jump up (as if they were little BEAMS) and giggle. It's cute yes...but it isn't exactly getting us all in a reverent state of mind for prayer. Anyway, after 2 straight weeks of this song we started over-ruling it and let someone besides Puka and/or Sunni to pick our song. When a different song is chosen Puka throws his little fit and will go on the other side of the wall and sing VERY LOUDLY his Sunbeam song while we're singing whatever song we're singing....and then while the prayer is being said he continues to sing that song and follows it up with his own prayer. Such a ham this guy:)

*Puka has always had a fascination with karate and other similar types of martial arts. Recently he has taken up the infamous "Hiyyyyeeeeeeeeee YAHHHH" saying and says it a little TOO MUCH! Anytime we call out for him he replies with his "Hiyyyeeeee YAHHH" and jumps out from wherever he was and gives us his "I'm ready to fight" stance.

*As he loves to pretend to be a karate kid...he often approaches one of us with a piece of material to wrap around his forehead saying "make me a "MINJA" please:)

*Our little "MINJA" recently has started talking with a lisp. He sound a lot like his older brother Sai. Speaking of Sais. Puka loves his new baby cousin and asks "Mom, go see baby THAI-THAI".

*Ever the fashion guru, Puks LOVES CLOTHES! He was in CLOTHES heaven when I returned from the states with a plethora of clothing for him. He is found changing his outfit 6-8 times a day...NO KIDDING!! The other day Tracy was around with baby Sai-Sai and Puka went over to kiss on baby. He turned to his Aunty Tracy and asked "Can you change Thai-Thai's outfit...PWWEASE?"

*The night Tra, Sai-Sai and Mom and Dad got back from AZ..we were all over at Tra's visiting. Baby Sai-Sai got hungry so Tracy pulled out a little sheet and covered herself while she nursed baby. Puka walked over to Tra and asked "Aunty Fracy...what you doing?" Tra replied "I'm feeding baby". Puka said "what you feeding him?" "Milk", says Tra. "Ohhh, is there cereal in there"...Puka bewilderedly asks....LOL!!!!!

SUNNI-GIRL....

Oh my little Sunni-girl!! She is just spunky this one. I love how independent and sassy she is, but boy she will turn on you on a dime..LOL! Sunni is forever getting her way with everyone. I guess that's the norm since CURRENTLY, she is the youngest. She still beats on Leila and Puka and makes them cry, but she loves them to pieces too.
* Aunty Tala is Sunni's favorite. She is constantly speaking of her Aunty Tala and in fact we just have to say "Aunty Tala" and it will bring her out of whatever funk she's in. Aunty Tala brings her candy and cookies and chips and always has a big smile, hug and kiss for Sunni.

*Sunni has produced quite the addiction to our iTouch. It's like she can smell the dang thing. There are quite a few apps on there that she enjoys but her favorite is Spongebob. It's actually nothing really exciting...it's a big pix of him and then when you tickle the screen he giggles and says things. Fasi and I practically have to hide or hide it while we're using is when she is around. But like I said, it's like she can sense it. Once she does see it or realize it's within a yard of her reach it's all over. She will cry and cry "GIVE ME MY ITOUCH" until it is handed over to her....where then of course all is peachy and she's smiling again, tickling her dang Spongebob.
*My nephew, Tauvaga, has a friend that came from AZ to live with the family. His name is Taylor. At first Sunni wouldn't give Taylor the time of day....but now she won't leave the guy alone when he is around. Last week at church Sunni kept walking back and forth between Silia and Taylor, just playing around and talking. Silia asked Sunni if Taylor was her boyfriend and she says "uh-huh" with the biggest grin. So Silia tells her ok, go say hi to your boyfriend. Sunni then goes up to Taylor and says "HI BOYFRIEND" as she bats her eyes and giggles. Cheeky cheeky baby..LOL!
*She loves the camera!! She will randomly come to me and say "mom, take picture me" and then stand in front of me and pose. After a picture is taken of her, she reviews it and will tell me to "take anudder one" if she doesn't like it. She will pick up objects laying around the house and pretend it's a camera and walk around coaching people to "say CHEEESE".

BEFORE I FORGET....

****Just wanted to blog about a few things before I forget. Last Saturday the kids and I jumped in the car and headed for....anywhere. We stopped over at Tra's and Chuck's to see what they were up to, only to catch Tra, Myca, D, Mom, Tala and Sai-Sai heading out for Cost U More. D said they tried calling earlier because the guys took the kids to the waterfall....oh well, we missed out this time. Anyway, Grandma and Grandpa gave us money to go grab some ice cream at Mcd's. We stopped at a store and grabbed some goodies and then found ourselves pulling into the park. It was a beautiful day out and the park was not yet crowded (as it usually is on Saturdays). I watched the kids play as well as checked out my surroundings while listening to the iPod. There was a very young couple, clearly in love, hanging out near the water. Another couple was nearby enjoying a picnic with their 3 little girls. Playing on the tennis courts was my old tennis coach from wayyyyy back (he's the kid's coach now), and he was in an intense match with what looked like a student of his. As much as I would've liked having Fasi with me (he was at home taking a nap) I was grateful I had the time to sit and reflect on my life in peace. Intense feelings of gratitude came over me as I watched my healthy children play together with such love for one another. And then as if to say "Me too Mom....I'll be there soon", our soon to be newest addition felt like he was throwing a little disco in my belly:) I love my babies so much!!!!! After eating all their snacks and burning off those calories they all elected to go get that ice cream that Grandma and Grandpa gave us money for. We headed to Mcd's and bought chocolate dipped cones (YUMMM) and then went home. It was only a few shorts hours with my babies, but I am so grateful for that and the memories that they are creating with each other.
****I've been getting in a lot of cuddle time with my new nephew Isaia. He is SO PRECIOUS!! He's a little over a month old and he is such a chunker....I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE HIM!!:) I watched him Friday night for a few hours. The kids loved having him in our home and wanted to eat him up as much as I. Sunday after church we headed over to Tra and Fou's to have dinner with them. Later that evening I was able to hold the little cutie again and had him for a while. I can't help but smile thinking about soon it will be before it's my own little guy I'm snuggling up with and kissing on. Isaia and our baby boy will be best of friend's...I just know it:) LOVE THESE BABIES!!!!!!!!

GOING PRIVATE...

I've debated for a while now, whether or not I should allow the "general public" to read up on my family memories and just random thoughts I blog about. I've finally decided that it's about time I make sure that these precious memories, etc..are shared only with those that share a love and respect for my family as well. Thus, I'm going into PRIVATE mode shortly. I believe I have most email addresses for those of you that take time out to read up on my family....I'll be sending you the invite for my soon-to-be PRIVATE blog. If you don't think I have your email address and would like to stay in touch with my family and I through our blog...shoot me an email.

WOOHOO, I'M FINALLY REGISTERED!!

After several attempts at the local hospital as well as the health clinic to try to get registered to start seeing an OB, I'M FINALLY REGISTERED!! I spent the whole day at the hospital Monday trying to finally get onto the prenatal program here. Besides the scare I had a month ago, this pregnancy has been going great. But I was starting to feel really horrible for this bundle of joy, because I haven't been seen by a doctor and giving this pregnancy the medical attention we all know we're supposed to get while expecting. Anywho, I'm excited to start seeing a Dr. I had my first physical on Monday as well as did a bunch of lab work. I go back on Friday for my first appointment and an ultrasound. We already know we're expecting a boy....YAYE!! And I already have his name picked out. I'm getting more and more anxious for baby to arrive already:)
