Last night Fasi and one of his best friends made plans to take their wives out on a hot date...those plans fell through though and we ended up taking our kids out instead. They were soooo thrilled! Apolo left for Scout camp earlier in the day with Danny and Danny boy so we got the other 4 ready and headed out. It was so funny because Silia walked in our room and saw that we weren't getting dressed up for our normal Date Night. She asked why we were still home after 8 p.m. and when I told her we weren't going out on a date she goes "HALLELUJAH..mom and dad aren't dating tonight"...LOL! When we told the kids to start finding their shoes and started picking out outfits for them to wear they were super excited!
Sunni girl was squealing all over Mcd's. It was funny and cute at first, and then it got quite annoying. How can you blame the poor thing though, she was out on a date with Mommy, Daddy and her siblings;o)
After wards we went to a store nearby and got some yummy ice cream. We thought it'd be real fun too to rent a movie and go home to watch it as a family. So we rented Madagascar 2 and headed home for the "Taase Cinemas". It was a fun, family filled night and if I could have it my way...every Friday night would be spent that way:)
