SO FAR THIS WEEK...

...We've not been AS busy as last week, but we have already done some really fun things!! Let's see...Monday morning I got out of bed very close to noon. Poor Fasi had to work at 5 am and so he wasn't fortunate enough to catch up on much needed zzz's. Sunni-girl had a rough night before, throwing up 3 different times. The first time she did, I wasn't in bed yet. I was downstairs talking with Barbie when I heard Sunni crying and Fasi calling out for me. Apolo came running downstairs announcing that Sunni just threw up and Daddy NEEDS YOU RIGHT NOW! Before I even entered our bedroom I could smell the yuck stuff:( I grabbed Sunni girl and gave her a quick shower while Fasi pulled all the bedding off the bed. He got her dressed while I put new clean sheets on and then we all jumped into bed. I sat up with Sunni rubbing her leg and patting her back because at this point she was still whimpering. I continued to do this even after she fell asleep just to make sure she was okay. Of course as soon as my head hit my pillow, she threw up again! This time it wasn't as much but we still needed to clean her up and then also cleaned up the lovely mess with lots and lots of wipeys. Before I let Sunni lye back down on my pillow (she pretty much sleeps on top of me) I finally thought to cover my pillow and my side of the bed with an extra blanket..just in case. Good thinking, because a few short minutes later more rice and red jello stuff was all over the blanket I just put down. Lucky enough we just had to clean Sunni up again, put new pj's on her, lye a new blanket down and off to LALA land we all went. It was almost 2 a.m. when I checked the time before lying back down. Like I said earlier, poor Fasi only had about 2 hours of sleep before he had to go to work. On a lighter note with the rain we've been getting lately the weather outside was fine for the kids to go play. They rode scooters and bikes and skateboards and enjoyed being outside with their friends again. Later that afternoon Barbie and I went and picked up Little Caesar's Pizza for dinner. We also made a little mommy detour and grabbed ice cream cones from McD's to treat ourselves. After dinner we had FHE with the whole gang and then off to sleep we all went.

Tuesday morning Barbie got up early and made pancakes for breakfast! They were YUMMMM!! Our friend Deuce (Taitusi) Lutui plays for the Arizona Cardinals and he was putting on a free football clinic for kids ages 7-14 this day. Fasi took Apolo, little Sele, Ako, Sai and Hayden in our car. The clinic started at 10 so they left early to get there in time and Silia, Leila, Puka, Sunni, Jacob, Annie, Gracie and myself left in the Ray's van about quarter to 11. When we got there we were relieved to see that it was being held indoors! It was really cool! Deuce was on the field with all the kids bouncing from age group to age group. He had some Mesa High football players there to help out and there were about 200 children there running around in shirts that had Deuce's number and name on the back. For the first hour they did drills and then the second divided the kids up into age groups and had them play in teams against their own age groups. There were news reporters there from a couple tv stations recording the camp. After the camp Deuce invited all the kids that attended and their families to the Peter Piper Pizza on Gilbert and Baseline for free lunch!! There was pizza GALORE as well as drinks AND Deuce even passed out a ton of tokens to the kids to play video games and rides. IT WAS AWESOME!! We are so grateful to Deuce for being so selfless and putting this whole event together, we pretty much HEART THIS LOCAL HERO!! Deuce was also kind enough to sign tons of shirts and also pose for photos , etc. We parents enjoyed it all just as much as the kiddos!! It's so exciting for Fasi and I to see how far Deuce has gone with his talent and BIG HEART!!

My nephews Danny and Fou playing with their age group.
Fasi, Deuce and my bil, Danny
Apolo and Hayden getting ready to play.
Ako, Sai and Puka admiring Deuce from afar.

T-BIRRRRRDS...LOL!! MCC dropouts more like..hehehe:)

The Ta'ase and Ray tribes with our FAVE LOCAL HERO!!!

After lunch we headed home to drop off the Ray's and their van:) and then got ready to take Silia and Apolo to see their Father. We packed up their bags and once again packed our tribe into the car and off we went. We met up with their Father at the McD's in front of Superstition Springs Mall, gave our kisses hugs and reminded them to be good and then headed over to Mom's for some swimming!! It was fun at the football clinic and PPPizza but it was really hot and humid. I don't think PPPizza expected that many people and they clearly didn't adjust their thermostat accordingly. Anyway, we cooled off in the pool for a good couple hours and then Tala invited my family to Barro's Pizza for dinner...YEP, more pizza!! It was sooo yummy!! Fasi talked Tala and Danny into coming to the one near our house since it has a place for kids to play and stuff. We ordered 48 wings, 3 pizzas, spaghetti and meatball dinner, and salads also...again, it was all soo YUMMY!! After dinner we said our Thank You's and goodbyes and then waddled to the car. When we got home the kids and I got ready for bed and Fasi left to go work off all the food by playing volleyball at our ward building.

Ako, Sai, Danny boy and Fou.

Fasi with our 3 youngest.

Puka with his Uncle Danny.
