Tra and Tala (both here from Samoa visiting for the business) show up at my home Tuesday evening with decorations for the tv room, glittery hair stuff for the girl's hair, crowns for all the princesses AND prince's as well as swords for the prince's and wands that light up for the princesses. They first put all the little girl's hair in up-do's and then sprayed em with the glittery stuff.
They then got all the girls and boys to sit in the livingroom and waited as "GISELLE/AUNTIE TALA" called them up one by one to be crowned and deemed prince and/or princess. She did this in her very soft, sweet princess voice packaged with very expressive hands and exaggerated facial expressions (just like at Disneyland). THE KIDS LOVED IT! Even the boys enjoyed it. My oldest niece Myca (15) and oldest nephew Vage (17) also participated. It was CUTE CUTE!!
After the "knighting" ceremony we ate Pizza Hut pizza and then proceeded to the t.v. room to watch THE BEST MOVIE EVER! At every musical number Tala aka Giselle, had everyone up dancing and singing along to the song. She's sooo much fun!! For a "party" that wasn't even really planned...it was pretty dang fun!!
That's one of the main reasons why I miss Tala and Tra sooo much. They're soo spontaneous and full of ideas, that they can just throw stuff like that together last minute. Anyway, every single prince and princess left with their bellies full of pizza, soda and cookies, a tiara, a sword, pretty glittery hair, and fun memories of their auntie's putting on a special party for them to watch Enchanted...THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!

Hey Tafi!! So glad you left a comment, it has been fun to look at your blog and now we can keep in touch better! Yay for blogging! What a fun idea!! Man, I am too lazy to do spontaneous things like that, I bet your family will remember that every time they think about the movie. We haven't seen yet, been waiting for it on dvd since we were homebound when it came out. :) So fun!
Looooved Enchanted and what a fun looking party you guys had!!
